Almost spring and time to refresh our home interiors. We have an attractive selection of prints which will do that for you at little cost AND we can offer beautiful original paintings and sculpture at just a tad more.
There is still one only Richard MacDonald limited edition bronze in our possession - long ago sold-out this is a formidable piece! ... Joie de Vivre (Music) a trilogy of dancing, pipe-playing sprites. During a recent visit to MacDonald's Laguna Beach gallery we confirmed the price at US$83.000! We are open to offers if you win Lotto!
We want to introduce some Fine Art Prints by Japanese artists "world famous" in Hawaii. These pieces are unframed and very affordable but gorgeous designs, and with impressive framing could be the perfect decor statement for a large wall.
TONY RICE - Colourful and evocative pieces in both oils and pastels are available from this fine Central Otago artist. He is a consummate figurative artist, having funded his way through art school in the UK by painting portraits of noted church clerics. Included in his group of artworks is a charming study of an African girl.
JOHN HORTON Check out his delightful and very reasonably priced new paintings on this site. British born and trained, John has been a professional working artist in New Zealand for many years. His works are in collections throughout the world.
PAUL DEACON's new work can be viewed on his page here.... As you would expect they are beautifully crafted renditions of antiquities and heritage ships.
DEVON HUSTON creates nostalgic and evocative watercolours designed especially for sale to travellers and the gift market- small, matted and protected. We have five new matted paintings and one framed - all very affordable.
Our wide variety of artwork includes inexpensive reproductions as well as fine quality paintings. There is also a smattering of small sculpture. Many of the paintings and prints are behind glass and therefore don't reproduce well on this site.
McClelland Galleries continues to represent some special artists at Barachel Orchard, home of fine macadamia nuts and assorted delightful animals. The orchard is just five minutes off SH1 a few kilometers south of the Waipu village turnoff. Approaching from the south Glenmohr Road is first on the right after reaching the flat highway having finally glimpsed the fabulous landforms of Bream Bay from the top of Pillbrow Hill. From the north of course we are the last left turn before the hill. Our lane is 3.22kms up the road on the RHS and you drive right to the end, passing four other houses. Our dog Blondie, a lab x whippet from the SPCA, is really benign but we'd like you to phone in case she frightens you. .
GILLIAN LANDER, a fine oil painter with a spiritual message and a calm considered technique, PAUL DEACON, an expert maritime and antiquities painter in both oils and watercolours, Aucklander HAROLD COOP whose evocative iconic acrylics and watercolours have delighted purchasers worldwide for almost 50 years, CRAIG FLETCHER, renowned for his beautiful framed ceramic watercolours, COLIN WHEELER, highly regarded for his iconic south island paintings, TONY RICE, British trained and Wanaka based, and ASHLEIGH MANLEY acclaimed Australian serigraph artist are among the many artists available through our virtual and studio gallery.......
